Trombonist Wins Racine Symphony's Young Artist Competition

A trombonist from New Berlin is the top finisher in the Racine Symphony Orchestra's Young Artists' Compeition.

As such, Kayla Olstinske will solo with the orchestra at its April 23rd concert.

It's the first time in recent memory that a trombonist has won the competition, which is open to youth from southeastern Wisconsin. 

This year's 2nd place finisher was Matthew Udry followed by Rachel Riese.
