The Gateway Radio Reading Service (GRRS) supports visually or physically impaired residents in the greater Kenosha and Racine areas that have difficulty seeing or holding printed material. GRRS is on the air weekdays Monday-Friday with volunteers reading articles from the Kenosha News and Racine Journal Times as well as books and short stories.
The service is accessible via a special radio receiver that is provided at no charge. To order a radio or to learn more about serving as a volunteer reader, contact Russ Weller or call at (262) 564-3744.
Listeners can also listen to Gateway Radio Reading Service’s stream via their browser.
