Kenosha Pride March: "Stand Up and Stand Strong"

The 4th annual Kenosha Pride march from Library Park to Harbor Park Sunday afternoon had about 150 participants. Executive Director Dan Seaver said the horror of what happened in Orlando is still on the minds of many.  He implored the LGBT community to “stand up and stand strong...as one community.” The march to the lakefront was led by Tremper student Ash Whitaker, whose transgender identity battle against Kenosha Unified, and which bathroom he can use, gained national attention.
