(WGTD)---Development news in the City of Kenosha:
The family-held Fireside Restaurant and Lounge on 30th Ave. north of Gateway Technical College will be demolished to make way for a Kwik Trip.
The vacant Burger King off of Highway 50 near Panera Bread will be converted into a pair of spaces for two new restaurants: Taco Pros and Crisp & Green.
An extended-stay hotel, Towne Plaza by Marriott, is planned for a space just east of Hampton Inn off of Highway 50 and west of I-94.
Redevelopment of the Dairyland Dog Track site is continuing. The Kenosha Plan Commission on Thursday is expected to review revised plans for over 200 town-home styled apartments.
