Jockey's 'Show 'Em What's Underneath' Campaign Features Noted Ballerina

With video

Kenosha-based Jockey is using the compelling story of an orphan-turned-ballerina to help sell its apparel.

The ad campaign titled "Show 'Em What's Underneath, Show 'em Your Jockey" is also drawing attention to Michaela DePrince's story.

According to a news release from Jockey, DePrince lost her parents in Sierra Leone's civil war and was sent to an orphanage, to be adopted at age four by an American family who supported her interest in dance. She earned a scholarship to the prestigious Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at the American Ballet Theatre. She's currently a soloist with the Dutch National Ballet.

Her recently-published auto-biography is titled "Taking Flight: From War Orphan to Star Ballerina."
