Charges Filed In Domestic Violence Death

(WGTD)---There's new information on the shooting death of a Racine woman whose body was found in a north-central Racine roundabout early Saturday.

30-year-old Alejandro Sierra was charged Monday with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide in the death of 36-year-old Alexis Fisher, a mother of five.

Sierra and another man, Antonio Servantez, Jr, have shared the same names. But it was Servantez, not the suspect sought in the murder, who was released on bail Saturday, the day of the shooting. That from District Attorney Trish Hanson.

Servantez is named in a pair of domestic violence complaints involving a victim with the initials "AF." It's not known if this domestic violence victim is Alexis Fisher, the woman who was killed on Saturday.

A warrant has been issued for Sierra's arrest while Servantez presumably remains free on bail.

According to the criminal complaint, a witness in a residence heard a confrontation between the homicide suspect and the victim, then saw the suspect and victim fighting on the floor.

Sierra then left the home, followed by Fisher. Sierra then allegedly pointed a gun at Fisher and fired. Before running off, Sierra purportedly picked up Fisher's body and said "Babe, babe, no, no. Are you okay?"

At some point in the incident, Sierra had threatened to kill himself, the witness said.

A Racine Interfaith Coalition vigil is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 6 at the roundabout.
