The Crawford Jazz Band returns to WGTD's "Noon Tunes" the week of April 18-21. (No show on Monday the 17th). We'll be featuring songs from their CD ""It's About Time," which is a collection of many great evergreen songs that you can sing along with. Here you can listen to Susan Crawford's gorgeous version of the WWII classic "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square." The song was made famous by the legendary British star Vera Lynn, who just turned 100 years old this year. Other artists who have covered this classic include Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin and Rod Stewart. "Noon Tunes" airs as the final segment of "The WGTD Midday News," Monday through Friday around 12:20pm.
