From WGTD News:

Additional details are expected to be released on Wednesday about a Monday homicide that occurred on Kenosha's south side. A 52-year-old man was stabbed to death in a home in the 8500 blk. of 18th Ave. His body was found by police who responded to a report of a possible break-in at the house, the second such call there within three hours. According to a news release, officers found nothing in their first trip. A 41-year-old man was arrested a few hours later. He has yet to appear in court. Police say they've referred a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide to the district attorney's office.

Classes were disrupted for over an hour at Bradford High School in Kenosha Tuesday by a 'swatting' incident. That's where pranksters call in a phony story that usually triggers a large response by police. In this case, a caller reported he had just shot someone in the school. Although police discounted the report within minutes, the school was placed on lockdown and thoroughly searched. 39th Ave. in front of the school was closed for over an hour. The investigation is continuing.

A Racine man who allegedly pointed a gun at a group of school children Monday appeared in court Tuesday. 61-year-old James Price is facing seven charges, including possession of a firearm while intoxicated. According to the complaint, 10 students were outside on recess at Wisconsin Lutheran School when a staffer spotted a man approach who appeared to be drunk. The man then produced what appeared to be a handgun. The employee ushered the students into the adjacent church. Police caught up with the man about a half-mile away, still waving a gun. He eventually dropped the gun and was arrested. Police said the firearm was not loaded. Bond for Price was set at $7,500.
