Hit-and-Run Car-Semi Accident in Kenosha

(WGTD)---A poor driving decision early Monday morning led to an accident in the 41-hundred block of 39th Avenue in Kenosha.

According to Kenosha Police---a semi was making a right turn from 39th Avenue onto 41st Street when a small Mitsubishi Eclipse tried to pass it on the right---and---crashed under the semi.

According to police radio transmissions relayed by the social media site Kenosha County Scanner---5 people in the small car then got into a Ford Mustang---apparently driven by a friend who was travelling behind them---and fled the scene.

The Mustang was stopped by police a few minutes later on 39th Avenue and 77th Street—and---reportedly all the occupants requested medical assistance.

The 21-year-old male driver of the Eclipse has been charged with hit-and-run. The condition of the 5 people in that car not has not been released.
