Former Kenosha Police Chief Returns to Full-Time City Employment

June 12, 2020 1p

(WGTD)---Former Kenosha Police Chief John Morrissey has been tapped to fill Kenosha's city administrator position.

The mayoral appointment is up for a confirmation vote at Monday's city council meeting.

Morrissey would replace Randy Hernandez, who recently resigned after only a year on the job.

Morrissey retired as chief in 2016 after serving 8 years in that position.

He returned to city employ as the part-time head of the city's inspection department late last year.
