(WGTD)---Funeral services for a 23-year veteran of the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Dept. will be held Tuesday.
Jeff Bliss will be eulogized beginning at noon in Siebert Chapel at Carthage College, with a visitation preceding the service beginning at 10.
The service will be web-streamed by the college.
The death of the 46-year-old Bliss was described as unexpected, and was framed as accidental.
Bliss served as a member of the Fire Task Force ,and the department’s Tactical Response Team where he was the lead trainer and a team leader. He also was a member of the department’s Honor Guard and the Hazardous Device Squad. He recently retired from being a Certified Bomb Technician.
In a statement, Kenosha County Sheriff Dave Beth said Bliss served honorably for over two decades and that his service will long be remembered and appreciated.
