Carthage College to Help Students Evacuated from Puerto Rico

Carthage College has come up with a unique strategy to help college and university students in Puerto Rico---and---their school---in the aftermath of the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. Students displaced by the hurricane---now living in the Midwest---can apply for a special admission status at Carthage. Rather than collecting the tuition---Carthage will allow the admitted students to pay their normal tuition to the school they were attending in Puerto Rico. They will only be charged for room-and-board if they live in on-campus housing. Students must stipulate that they are returning to their schools in Puerto Rico once they are back up-and-running.

Applications will be accepted now through February 7th. For full details students can contact Ashley Hanson at ashley@carthage.edu.
