Pleasant Prairie Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver

Pleasant Prairie---A hit and run driver left a motorcyclist with serious injuries at Cooper Rd. and 80th St. Thursday morning at about 9:40.

Police are looking for a newer, maroon-colored van with tinted windows, similar to a Dodge Caravan, according to a news release. The vehicle may have some damage to the front driver's side, according to what witnesses told police. 

The victim was identified as a 35 year-old Pleasant Prairie who was flown to Froedtert in suburban Milwaukee. 

Anyone with information about the suspect van and its driver is asked to call police at 694-7353. 

Witnesses said that shortly after the accident the driver pulled over and parked for a time, but left north bound on Cooper before police arrived.
