Music Sampler: Former Journey Singer Robert Fleischman on "Noon Tunes" November 27-December 1

Robert Fleischman was the lead singer for the band Journey before they changed musical direction to a pop sound. He then moved on to front the rock band The Vinnie Vincent Invasion started by a former guitar player for KISS (Vinnie Vincent replaced Ace Frehley when he left KISS for a solo career.) Fleischman then formed his own band The Sky.  Today---Robert and his wife and daughter reside in Racine. (Her parents live there.) Along with music, art has always been a  passion of his---and now---he specializes in abstract and collage art working in a large studio on Northwestern Avenue. All this week (November 27-December 1) we are featuring music from The Sky's CD "Majestic" on "Noon Tunes."  We've included a link to one of the songs from the CD. "Noon Tunes" can be heard around 12:20pm---Monday through Friday---as the last segment on the WGTD Midday News. WGTD is at 91.1FM in Kenosha and Racine---101.7FM in Elkhorn---and---103.3FM in Lake Geneva. We also stream live---worldwide---at www.wgtd.org.
