(WGTD)---Menards in Kenosha opened as scheduled Saturday morning at 6:30 following an overnight fire.
The blaze seemed to be confined to a small area in the back of the building near the appliances. A small section of the interior wall was observed to be charred.
As of mid-morning, employees were still wiping down surfaces.
No smoke odors were present. Air boats from a couple of Illinois fire departments were called in to assist with ventilation.
The store manager wouldn't comment on the possible cause. A spokesman for the Kenosha Fire Dept. wasn't immediately available.
