(WGTD)---A popular radio show that aired for years on Kenosha radio station WLIP, then was canceled last year before being picked up by a Racine radio station, now has a statewide audience.
Lou Rugani’s nostalgic “Music of the Stars” program, which airs Sunday mornings on Racine’s WRJN, will be broadcast throughout the statewide network of stations owned by Civic Media.
That company bought WRJN last year and put Rugani and his show on the air in Racine this past fall.
Civic Media announced Thursday that the Racine- originated program will air on all 12 of its stations, including outlets in Madison, Green Bay and suburban Milwaukee.
In a news release, Rugani said he’s thrilled that his program will be heard throughout the state.
