(WGTD)---It's probably a safe bet that few people at Central High School in Paddock Lake a few years ago figured that 2018 graduate Tyler Huffhines would be starting the new decade in jail facing some serious charges. But that's exactly where Huffhines sits as he awaits a scheduled Jan. 16th pre-trial hearing on charges related to running a THC vape cartridge manufacturing business with family members and friends.
A couple of months before he graduated, Huffhines was profiled in the Kenosha News for his skills as a budding entrepreneur for buying and selling fashionable tennis shoes. "I haven't asked my parents for money since the sixth grade," Huffhines was quoted as saying. "I like making money. I'm a businessman, and the hustle is my lifestyle," he said.
On the paper's sports pages, Huffhines was noted for his accomplishments as a Falcons football player.
A video from those days recently surfaced. Here's an interview of Huffhines that's archived on photographer Earlene Frederick's You Tube pages.
