Town of Wheatland---Authorities have identified the man who burned to death inside a pickup truck at a discount food store as a shop employee.
64 year-old Paul Hoffman of Burlington had suffered both smoke inhalation and burn injuries, according to a news release from the Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The truck with Hoffman inside had been in the parking lot of Best Bargains, the place where he worked. The truck apparently caught fire just before the place opened for business Monday morning.
Individuals who came across the fire were unsuccessful in trying to pull Hoffman from the truck.By the time firefighters arrived, the pickup was engulfed in flames.
