(WGTD)---When is it illegal to possess a Halloween costume? The answer is when you're a registered sex offender.
Working in partnership with the Division of Community Corrections, the Racine County Sheriff's Dept. Tuesday night arrested three sex offenders for having in their possession Halloween costumes. A fourth offender was picked up for suspected drug use.
A total of 91 checks were made to determine whether the offenders were following the rules during trick or treating.
They include staying at home. Warrants were issued for two offenders who couldn't be immediately located, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.
