(WGTD)---Carthage College is launching a two-track program that’s designed to support local manufacturing.
It’s called “Product Management for Manufactured Goods,” and it’s available as either an accelerated master’s level program or as a five-month certificate.
The program has product design, pricing, marketing and promotion components.
The courses will be taught on campus, although there’s a remote option to accommodate students who travel for business, according to a news release.
Jim Padilla, dean of Carthage’s School of Business and Economics, said it made sense for Carthage to offer such a program, given the area economy’s reliance on manufacturing.
Classes begin in August.
