(WGTD)---Arrest warrants have been issued for Chrystul Kizer, the woman charged with murder and arson in Kenosha County for allegedly killing the man who abused her and other girls.

Misdemeanor counts of domestic abuse and disorderly conduct were filed Monday in Milwaukee County, where Kizer currently resides.

At the same time, four counts of felony bail jumping were issued in Kenosha County.

According to a criminal complaint, the 23-year-old Kizer and the 47-year-old man she'd been living with in a Milwaukee apartment fought on the morning of January 7th.

The man said Kizer threw a metal chair and attacked him.

Although Kizer called police to report a battery, according to the complaint, a man could be heard in the background saying, "stop hitting me."

Once police arrived, Kizer reportedly continued to scream and at one point lunged at the man. She was then placed in handcuffs and put inside a squad car. Body cam video reportedly captured part of the incident.

Arrest warrants were issued in both cases.

Kizer spent nearly two years in jail awaiting trial on the Kenosha murder and arson charges before several community groups raised $400,000 in bail money in 2020 to secure her release.

The state Supreme Court ruled last year that Kizer should be allowed to present a case of self defense.

Kizer's trial on the murder and arson charges is scheduled for June.
