(WGTD)---The parents of a Central High School sophomore are scrambling to find their runaway daughter.
15-year-old Anna Marie Estes had been staying at a relative's home near St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster while her parents were away on a weekend trip. In the dead of night, Anna cut a screen on a second-floor bathroom window and climbed down, according to her mother, Krista Estes.
A neighbor's camera caught two shadowy subjects, a male and a female, on the ground waiting for her.
Krista said Sunday night that the family has been getting a lot of tips but so far none has panned out.
Anna Marie is described as very small in stature, with brown eyes and at the moment, possibly dyed blue hair.
Krista says this is the first time that her daughter has run away from home, although she and her husband thwarted an attempt made last year.
Family members spent part of Sunday in Milwaukee handing out flyers because friends of Anna Marie said she had talked about wanting to get to the airport.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept.
