(WGTD)---A 52-year-old Kenosha man died Saturday night after apparently being dragged for blocks underneath a car that had struck him.
The driver--a 37-year-old woman from Waukegan--is in custody. According to a police department news release, the woman may have been under the influence of THC. She reportedly was driving without a license.
The accident in downtown Kenosha happened around 9 p.m.
Firefighters were able to extricate the man from underneath the vehicle but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A six-block stretch of Sheridan Rd. from 57th to 63rd was closed for six hours.
Additional details are expected to come out once the criminal complaint is filed.
