From WGTD News:

The driver of an Amazon truck has been charged in Racine court with vehicular homicide while under the influence of a controlled substance, namely marijuana. Bond for 31-year-old Jonathan Bueche of Antioch was set Tuesday at $5,000. According to the criminal complaint, Bueche turned in front of a motorcycle Sunday morning at Highway K and West Frontage Road, killing the driver of the cycle, 45-year-old Adam Hobach of Oak Creek. His juvenile daughter, who was riding on the back, suffered serious injuries that were not life-threatening. Bueche purportedly admitted to using marijuana the night before through a water pipe and a vape pen. The complaint says the defendant failed a pair of field sobriety tests. The results of two blood draws were pending.

Passersby helped free a man who was trapped in the burning wreckage of his vehicle in Pleasant Prairie Tuesday evening. According to police, the driver left County H just north of Highway 50 and slammed into a tree, demolishing the front end of his car. By the time officers arrived, citizens were already using fire extinguishers and were working to extricate the driver. An officer used his fire extinguisher to allow more time for passersby to remove the man. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
