(WGTD)---An internal Kenosha Police Department investigation into allegations surrounding Det. Paul Torres is over.

A Kenosha woman, Dionnise Molina, filed a complaint. A video shot with her cell phone camera shows Torres walking down a stairwell and interacting with Molina, who asks for identification. He then asks her to step aside and threatens her with arrest,  Within a moment, a scuffle appears to break out and Molina is arrested. Molina said she was slammed against a wall.

The incident occurred last August as Torres was investigating a matter in Molina’s neighborhood.

In an email to WGTD, a police department spokesman said that the investigation uncovered “some issues” with Torres’ response to the situation.

As a result, Torres has undergone unspecified, additional training.

In the email, the spokesman indicated that the department believes that Torres will take the recommendations made to him to heart in future interactions with the public.

Over the years, Torres has collected several use-of-force complaints. He was cleared of any wrong-doing in the shooting death of a man who'd been fleeing from police and in a separate incident in which he shot and wounded a suicidal subject.

When contacted by WGTD Sunday night, Molina, who appeared at two recent Police and Fire Commission meetings to discuss the August incident, had no additional comment.
