Lake Geneva---It’ll be a remarkable reunion of sorts at the public library here on Saturday, May 14th: Two of three children who were born under great secrecy in a Nazi concentration camp will join the son of the U-S soldier who freed the babies and their mothers.
At the center of the presentation, will be Wendy Holden, an English journalist who wrote about it in a book titled “Born Survivors.”
"It's an incredible event and a miracle that these babies were born and that they survived and that their mothers survived as well," Holden said in a phone conversation from her home with the Morning Show's Greg Berg.
Why Lake Geneva? The son of the soldier, Larry Kosiek, has a home here. In addition, one of the child-survivors lives just down the road in Madison where he's employed as an emergency room physician.
Why now? Holden’s best-selling book has just been released in paperback.
The presentation on the 14th will begin at 10:30. It's free.
