Play - March 19

Jack Benny returns to the WGTD Radio Theater this Saturday for the 91.1 Players 100th live broadcast.

Jack (Gary Stamm) will be joined by his usual supporting cast of Mary Livingstone (Viki DuMez), Don Wilson (Jim McClure), Phil Harris (Cameron Spencer) and Dennis Day (Ryan Farrell).

Other cast members include Phyllis Diller (DuMez), Orson Welles (John O'Leksy), Ronald Coleman (Siegfried Christoph) and Benita Coleman (Jill Jensen).

The show's announcer will be Kathy Zuhlke, with live sound effects from Barb Tylla.

Making a special guest appearance as himself will be Racine Mayor John Dickert.

Live music will be provided by the Dixie Dudes.

Saturday's show--titled "Hey...Where's the Script???" has a bit of a built-in twist as the actors won't be getting the script from writers Steve Brown and Michael Ullstrup until the show begins.

A new radio play is broadcast live about every 6th Saturday at 11:15. Most plays--including this one-- are produced in Rm. 120 of the Center for Bioscience and Information Technology on Gateway's Kenosha campus.

You're invited to either tune in, listen online or be part of the studio audience. Admission for the Kenosha venue is free.

Founded by Brown and Ullstrup, The WGTD Radio Theater is now in its 12th season.
