The Morning Show - 8/19/15

We catch up with Illinois author Fern Schumer Chapman, who has just written her third book about her mother - a Holocaust survivor. (Her first book, "Motherland," is a best-seller that was a 'Racine Reads' book several years ago.) Her latest book, "Like Finding My Twin," tells the remarkable story of how her mother was reunited with Gerda, someone she befriended during the trans- Atlantic voyage which took them both from Germany to America - but from whom she was separated. With almost no information to go on, a class of eighth grade students took on the task of finding Gerda and reuniting the two old friends ..... and succeeded!
