We preview this week's POV documentary "The Overnighters." The film is about a small town in North Dakota which has been turned upside down by the sudden development of a booming oil industry which has drawn many hundreds of outsiders to the area in search of high-paying jobs. The film focuses on a Missouri Synod Lutheran pastor who takes it upon himself to welcome many of these men - some of them with checkered pasts - to stay in the church; he does so despite mounting criticism from all sides. The film is also an exploration of the challenge of remaking one's self and of finding a way to fit into a community that is not your own.
