The Morning Show - 6/22/15

We will preview the first documentary in a new season of PBS's POV (Point of View) independent documentary series. "Out in the Night" tells the story of a notorious incident in which seven African-American lesbians who were arrested and charged with gang assault after banding together to repel the aggressive advances/angry attack of a man on a street in New York City's West Village. The documentary follows four of the women who refused to plead guilty to a lesser charge and who were ultimately convicted and incarcerated - and who struggled for years to find justice.
