The Morning Show - 3/13/14

Lisa Kornetsky, from the theater department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, joins us to talk about their production, Paula Vogel's "How I learned to Drive." Also, we talk with Kevin Cook, the author of "Kitty Genovese: The Murder, the Bystanders, and the Crime that Changed America." It was 50 years ago today that Kitty Genovese was brutally murdered - supposedly while 38 neighbors witnessed the attacked yet failed to intervene or summon help. It has been called the incident which perfectly embodied the troubling emergence of "Urban Indifference" - but it turns out that the incident was badly misunderstood by the press at the time.
