Community Matters - 8/2/08

For people born in the 21st Century, the concept of woman leading faith congregations will be relatively non-controversial. Woman are prominent in the Jewish and Protestant faiths today. And, woman are becoming a force in Roman Catholic leadership as well. Len Iaquinta's guests this morning are: Rabbi Michael Remson, Doctor of Divinity, who is now semi-retired. He consults through his firm, Synagogue Church Consulting, and lives in Kenosha. The Reverend Linda Farmer-Louis, who is the lead pastor at Kenosha's First United Methodist Church. The Reverend Georgette Wonders, minister at Bradford Community Church Unitarian Universalist in Kenosha. And, theReverend Alice Iaquinta, ordained as Roman Catholic deacon and as a priest last summer. She resides in West Bend.
