Citing work and other commitments, Kenosha police officer and County Board Supervisor Jeff Wamboldt says he is pulling out of the 1st District Congressional race.
In a press release issued early Thursday morning he said, "Unfortunately, unlike the other candidates in the Republican field, I am a middle-class guy. I must work my full-time job, I have many active local commitments, and an understanding of the monumental uphill challenge that clinching the Republican nomination will be.
After prayerful consideration, conversations with Debbie and the kids, and a clear conscience, I am withdrawing from the race for 1st Congressional District."
