Two people were killed in a two-car accident in Walworth County on Tuesday. According to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office---two cars collided head-on on Highway 12/67 in the Town of LaGrange just before 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. The preliminary investigation shows one of the cars crossed the center line and struck the other car. The driver and passenger in the car that crossed the center line were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office. They have been identified as 67-year-old Dennis Hinze and 60-year-old Joy Hinze of Elkhorn. The driver of the other car---40-year-old Matthew Kilroy of Fort Atkinson---and---an unidentified 15-year-old female passenger---were both critically injured and are being treated at an area trauma center. The crash remains under investigation.
