(WPR)---Authorities say the Wisconsin man accused of stealing guns and writing an anti-government manifesto has been arrested.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a press release that Joseph Jakubowski was taken into custody Friday morning near the border of Vernon and Richland counties following a days-long manhunt.

According to the release, he was found camping on a farm in Readstown after law enforcement received a tip about a suspicious person in the area matching Jakubowski's description.

The Sheriff's Department said he was captured "without incident."

Jakubowski is suspected of burglarizing a gun store in Janesville and and making unspecified threats against schools. He also sent a 161-page anti-government manifesto to President Donald Trump at the White House.

Vernon County Sheriff John Spears told WPR that everyone in his office is feeling, "very very good, you know. I think I can speak for every law enforcement officer in the country that they're all breathing a sigh of relief this morning."

Dozens of police and federal officials have been searching for Jakubowski since the gun store was robbed in Janesville last Tuesday.

Law enforcement officials plan to hold a press conference in Janesville and release more information at 2 p.m.
