The Crop Hunger Walk in Kenosha will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this fall as a vehicle to raise money for food pantries in Kenosha and the Church World Service. Three of the co-founders will appear.

Suzzane Dennik, Consumer and Housing Education Coordinator for the UW-Extension in Milwaukee and Racine. She'll discuss the recent rise in foreclosures and how to avoid getting in too deep with mortgages you can't afford.

Five of the six recipients of this year's Racine YWCA "Women of Distinction" award will be Linda Flashinski's guests.

The Racine Health Clinic was recently established to help low-income uninsured individuals and families in Racine. Morris will speak with a representative of the Clinic.

The UW-P Center for Community Partnerships is planning to create a pair of environmental education, research and recreation facilities in the area.

Carthage business students connect with inner-city youth in Racine. The College has a program called "Students in Free Enterprise." The school's business department works with kids via the YMCA.
