We speak with track coach Mike DeWitt (formerly at UW-Parkside .... currently at Case High School) - a former All-American track star himself. Several race walkers he has worked with finished at the top of the most recent Olympic Trials - but sadly, The U.S. Track Team will not be sending race walkers to these Olympic games. the first time since 1904 that there will be no American race walkers competing in the Olympic Games. We talk with him about why this has occurred - and what the future is for the sport.
