We speak with Katiann Nelson on the eve of her final performance in Carthage's Opera Workshop - which this time around is a presentation titled "In Memory of Mozart: Celebrating the Legacy of a Singular Genius," in which Katiann portrays Mozart's widow Constanze, presiding over a gathering of the composer's friends and colleagues ten years after his untimely death in 1791. Katiann is a triple threat- a talented and skilled singer, pianist and clarinetist.
