MS - Jerry Awards

We speak with Kristen Singer, a teacher for the Kenosha Unified School District- and Carly Mikula, a gifted KUSD student, who just participated in the annual Jerry Awards in Madison ... which honors outstanding high school music theater programs throughout the state.   One of the productions that Kirsten Singer directed for KUSD, "Chicago," was honored by having a scene from the production performed at the event- and she was also invited to stage one of the evening's medleys featuring talented perfomers from around the state.  Carly Mikula received two Jerry Awards and was also selected as the one singing actress to represent the state of Wisconsin in New York City later this month.  (Kristen assisted Carly with her audition for that particular honor.)
