(WGTD)---A springtime walk through the woods and prairie is one thing, but a pleasurable outdoors stroll in the company of a trained naturalist is another.
The River Bend Nature Center north of Racine is offering such an experience, free of charge.
Christa Trushinsky, River Bend staff Naturalist and Director of Education, will lead an hour-long "discovery" walk Saturday morning, May 18th.
The walk will begin in front of the Main Lodge building at 9.
According to a River Bend news release, Christa will point out springtime blooms, and signs of wildlife in a tour of the nature preserve's forests, prairie, ponds and river bank.
No reservations are required.
