Motorcycle Fatal in Pleasant Prairie; Drunk Driving Suspect Arrested 6th Time

Pleasant Prairie---An early-morning motorcycle accident left the driver dead and a passenger injured. According to a news release, a 48 year-old Kenosha man lost control of the bike on the curve on 7th Ave. near the railroad tracks. The motorcycle struck a guard rail. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The 39 year-old female passenger was taken to a Milwaukee hospital. Neither rider had been wearing a helmet. The accident happened Tuesday just before 3 a.m.

Racine---Police are investigating an overnight stabbing. A 35 year-old man turned up at Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center just before 1 a.m Tuesday with numerous stab wounds. He was later transferred to a hospital in Milwaukee. No other information was released.

Kenosha----A wrong-way driver was pulled over on Pershing Blvd. early Tuesday morning, chalking up his sixth drunk driving ticket. 56 year-old Ronald Gyzen was spotted by Pleasant Prairie Police near 75th St. on the wrong side of the road and driving on a flat tire.  According to a news release, Gyzen had actually been driving on the rim of the tire. The list of charges includes threatening the arresting police officers.
